Hey team,
I am so excited to be working with Youth With A Mission, aka YWAM, full-time! Since you are partnering with me, you are essentially a part of the YWAM network too! So, I wanted to share a little bit about this organization with you. YWAM is an international, interdenominational Christian missions organization. We have three primary modes of ministry:
Mercy Ministry
Evangelism
Training
These three ministries are driven by our core mission: know God and make Him known.

Mercy Ministry consists of caring for the sick and oppressed. Building homes, bringing medical supplies, and tutoring are just a few ways Youth With A Mission serves those in need. Meanwhile, evangelism consists of sharing Jesus with the unreached. Preaching, Bible translation, and friendship building are just a few ways we bring the Gospel to ears that have never heard it before. Lastly, training focuses on helping individuals develop a personal relationship with Jesus and a biblical worldview. Students are immersed in daily Bible study, prayer gatherings, worship sessions, and sermons for three months. Then, students spend two months overseas, with a team, serving in mercy ministry and evangelism. All in all, everything we do is meant to point people to Jesus Christ.
This non-profit organization was started in the 1970s by a young couple. Now, just 50 years later, we have over 1,200 campuses across over 180 countries! YWAM is decentralized, so each campus has complete freedom to tailor their ministry to its nation's specific needs and calling. Together, we equip and send over 25,000 short-term missionaries annually in addition to 20,000 long-term workers. Globally, we reach tens of thousands with the message of Jesus Christ!
What's even more amazing: most of this ministry is funded by donors like you! Every single position in YWAM is funded by individuals' support teams. Many campuses were built through donations. Every mission trip, every mercy ministry, and all of the training are majorly supported through believers who give. Hundreds of thousands of believers have partnered together through finances, prayer, and service. You and I have now joined this network of believers together! Thank you for partnering with me.
Your ministry partner,
Katrielle Bauknight
