Orlando Ministry Nights

For the next two months YWAM Orlando will be having ministry nights!  The vision of these gatherings is to minister to the heart of God.  In 1 Peter Believers are described as a "royal preisthood". The role of a priest was to make sacrifices, play worship music, and tend to the temple of God where the Lord resided. So what does a modern day priest look like? Well, I can't answer that, but Jesus can. According to Hebrews He is our great high-priest. According to 1 John the Holy Spirit is our teacher.  So, The people of YWAM Orlando are gathering every other Thursday to seek God. We are asking Him to teach us to serve and love Him like a priesthood. As we gather we read scripture, sing worship songs, and even wait in silence if led. We have no agenda for these gatherings: just to wait on the Lord. He is the author and perfector of our faith. He will teach us to be a priesthood.
